Body Balance Contouring is a process that shapes the skate blade to control the skater’s leg extension and knee bend. The bend in the skater’s knee controls how much positive pressure is applied to the Achilles tendon. Having more positive pressure on the Achilles tendon will extract more power from the skater’s leg extension.
